Recently, we have been going through an unprecedented period regarding not only our own country, but the whole planet as well; the period,  characterized by the highest extent of uncertainty and volatility. We will, however, remain calm in the midst of it all and go on making the right decisions that will lead us to a better future, in the social and business environment.

At Grant Thornton, our main concern is undoubtedly ensuring the health of our people, partners and the entire community as well. Following the instructions, issued by national and international bodies, we have implemented the entire complex of measures that will help protect the health of all of us, as well as slow down the spread of coronavirus.

In this respect, we have postponed  all the previously scheduled conferences and workshops, suspended  the business trips, limited out executives’ transfers to the most necessary, put in place  videoconferencing plans to facilitate  efficiency of our operations  and strictly observe the relative guidelines. Furthermore, we have developed a comprehensive Disaster Recovery Plan as well as the Business Continuity Plan that certify the ability of existing technology infrastructures and wider resources to meet the needs of our clients.

In an environment, where the economy faces major challenges, our key priority remains to continue to stand by you and provide you with high quality and value-added services. Since our primary concern is help minimize the impact of this crisis on businesses, we have ensured that our executives have and will continue to have at their disposal the information infrastructure, facilitating them  to work remotely and go on rendering services to our clients. We are in constant communication with Grant Thornton’s global network, aiming to meet all our clients’ needs domestically and globally in this turbulent and demanding period we are facing. Our first and foremost priority is to find solutions and provide suggestions that will help our clients and collaborates navigate the uncharted waters.

Let us not forget that new opportunities can always be discovered through these difficulties and challenges. And even a greater opportunity is that this crisis has brought us closer together than ever. Let us all continue to be flexible and adapt to new conditions as quickly as possible, so that we can all contribute to the orderly functioning and integrity  not only of the economy, but also the entirety of our society.
