Experience

Diamantis Giannakopoulos is a Partner in the Deals Services department of Grant Thornton Greece, with extensive experience and expertise in Valuation services.

Throughout his career, Diamantis has served as Project Manager on projects involving multinational, listed and non-listed companies, taking the lead in managing team members and client relationships from project initiation to completion. He is responsible for Valuation and Financial Modelling projects, as well as other Corporate Finance services across various sectors.

As part of the Monitoring Trustee team for a Greek systemic bank, he engaged primarily in special handling credit committees. In his current role as Partner, he manages the coordination of project teams, supervises the performance and development of staff, assesses and mitigates risks, and organizes internal training initiatives focused on Valuation and Financial Modelling. His experience spans several sectors, including Energy, Media, Metallurgy, Transport, Pharmaceuticals, Food and Beverages, Tourism, Healthcare, and Financial Services.

He holds a degree in Accounting and Finance and an International MBA from the Athens University of Economics and Business.
